The Unlimited Sewing Workshop Story

Unlimited Sewing Workshop started in 2014, from humble beginnings – a laundry room inside their Naples apartment of Fredi and Patricia Rodriguez and their young children. Growing a top swimwear manufacturer and sewing business in Naples evolved from their desire to grow their business in their hometown paradise. For 15 years, Fredi and Patricia had traveled overseas to set up factories in Central America, South America, the Caribbean and India. The goal was to produce 40,000- 50,000 pieces weekly to ship to the U.S. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, their boss wanted to give back to that community by building a factory there to create jobs.

After getting the factory running in Haiti, Fredi decided to retire from his jet-setting career. Their family was growing, travel wasn’t good for their kids, now aged 5, 6, 16, and two 22 year olds, the couple wanted to build their business in Naples.

The couple doesn’t just have expertise setting up clothing factories. Fredi, a master tailor, had been sewing since age 12 in the Dominican Republic, where he helped his family financially by finding sewing work. His talent and expertise grew and Fredi is now known for his quality work and ability to tackle any sewing job – from men’s suits, ballet dressesand swimsuits to creating new seats for a run-down school bus donated to a local church.
